Martial arts expert Don Miller continues to pass along to others the benefits of his vast experience in Eastern and Western bodymind disciplines. I recently received a flyer announcing his classes this past winter at the Tisbury Health Club in Vineyard Haven. You will recall from earlier class notes that Don was a first place winner in Freestyle Push Hands Sparring at the 1988 American Tai Chi Championships in San Francisco.

Jonathan Newcomb has been named to the newly created position of president and chief operating officer of Simon & Schuster, the publishing arm of Paramount Communications Inc. Jon is now responsible for the day-to-day operations of all Simon & Schuster publishing activities, the revenues from which were $1.4 billion in fiscal 1990. Congratulations, Jon!
