In my continuing role as investigative reporter, I followed up on my last article listing the offspring of our class who graduated in the class of '91 and found that the subsequent classes have a number of our offspring as well.

In the class of' 92 are Thomas Davis (Dix), Matthew Gilman (Grady), Elizabeth Hellman (Mike), Michael Hommeyer (Andy), Rachel Johnson (Bob), and William Lehan (Bill).

The class of '93 includes Bruce Andrews (Peter), Tamar Gerber (Roger), Richard Matusow (Paul), Christina Mickelson (Mick), and Andrew Sezak (Marvin).

On to '94 and we find "Terence Boyle (Bill), Daniel Mackler (Stu), Jonathan Rosenblatt (Arnie), and Christine Shaw (Yours Truly).

Now to the most recent arrivals, the class of '95: Todd Brackett (Tom), Kelly Collins (Pete), Victor King (Vic), and Kevin Rogers (Ken). Can you believe that this will be 40 years after we entered Dartmouth?

This totals 20 and, added to the ten who just graduated, represents approximately five percent of our classmates.

Let me suggest that when we have our next class event in Hanover, we invite all these '59 offspring to a get-together where they can meet each other and we can meet each of them. You are coming to the October 25-26 reunion, right?

Now, for some more news of our class, we hear from Herb Schoenberg: "Roped in four classmates—Ron Kabot, Larry Friedricks,Hany Jeffrey, and Bob Danielson—to assist in the regional chair duties.

"Anne and I had an extremely pleasant dinner a few weeks ago with Larry and his wife, Paula. Larry is with Charles Fries Entertainment as executive VP of international distribution. Paula also works at Fries and is a senior VP of international distribution. And who was it that said, 'Never the twain shall meet?'

"Herb Jeffrey and I have begun discussing a '59 dinner (Southern California style) and get-together some time injune for those '59ers in the San Luis Obispo to San Diego area."

For those who have seen U.S. Air's major ($50 million) ad campaign, class VP RandyMalin, vice chairman and executive VP of U.S. Air, is quoted as saying, "We grew up as a series of hometown airlines, so we wanted to convey a big national airline with deep, small-town values." Randy, keep those hubs growing (especially Dayton).

A somewhat belated congratulation goes to Larry Toal who, in January, was named president and CEO of the Dime Savings Bank of New York (New York's largest savings institution). Larry was recruited from the Philadelphia Savings Fund Society, where he had been president. Prior to that, he had a 26-year career at Chase. He worked in a number of areas of Chase, including supervising its credit card operation, its branches, and its Hong Kong operations.

Finally, a report on Tom Margetts who recently stepped up to chairperson of the County College of Morris. Tom lives in New Vernon, N.J., and is an attorney with a Newark firm. Tom has also served as mayor of Harding Township. Keep up the good community work.
