22 With pride for '22 and gratitude from the College, the class contributed $50,000 to the 1992 Alumni Fund. Warren Daniell presented the check to President Freedman at our 70th Reunion last June. Complete Fund reports now show that the '22 donations came from 17 alumni, bequests to the Fund from deceased classmates, and 19 memorial contributions from class ladies and children. The total gave '22 the highest participation index of all classes. Obviously $50,000 is not a major component in a record $12.8 million Fund total, but, especially in the current anemic economy, it vividly testifies that "Dartmouth Undying" is more than just a song. Your class gratefully salutes you.

We are now all ninetysomething and no longer have the mobility of 60-year adolescents. Classmates whom we missed at Reunion, and who surely would have been with us if they could, included Jack Dodd (broken arm), Killy Kilmarx, Spenny Smith, DickLitchfield, and others with health restrictions. We also missed Jeanne Daniell, who suffered a broken leg shortly before Reunion. Best wishes and happy recovery to all.

Dr. Clyde Jensen and Walter Sands have left us in sorrow. Obituaries will appear in a future issue. Two fondly remembered ladies, Doris Sands and Catherine Minor, have also passed away.

In a note on a recent report Carroll Dwight writes: "Being your treasurer for 45 years has given me many good friends and pleasant memories. Thanks for both." And thanks indeed to you, Carroll.
