The memorable mini-reunion October 25-26 began and ended with thoughtful and industrious planning by Bill and Jean Hallager, who coordinated events at the Norwich Inn, our meeting, and our banquet. On Friday evening two dozen '47s and spouses marched under President Hugh Chapin's placard, through town, around the campus, to the green of Dartmouth Hall. One of the nicest touches was to hear once again the voice of Mike McGean '49 leading the Dartmouth Night introductions and events. President Freedman helped fire us up, followed by the Dartmouth Glee Club and Buddy Teevens with his football seniors. At just the right time, a 50-tier bonfire was lit off. It was so well built by the '95s that it took 50 minutes to topple, which it finally did with a crash.

Saturday dawned with traces of ground haze, which gave way to warm sunshine, and it stayed beautiful all day.

Hugh Chapin's firm hand guided our assembled classmates through an annual busin ess meeting, held in Topliff/New Hampshire cluster. The class voted to continue support for our President's Intern program, as well as our commitment to the dorm cluster. These worthwhile class projects keep us closely in touch with the campus, and their value needs to be communicated to all classmates for their support at annual dues time, which is NOW Our intern, Jane Pfaff '92, gave us a bright, personable talk on her work coordinating President Freedman's interplay with students.

It should be mentioned that the cluster is very much the host of our meeting. If you are ever nearby, call on Raj Shah '92, or Junish Arora '94—they are our kind of people. Besides the meeting-room setup and snacks, there was a large BBQ with the Dodecaphonics singing for our pleasure.

The football game was most satisfying, from weather to long runs to band show to final score, Amen.

The Norwich Inn hosted our banquet. 33 were present to enjoy good food, fine wine, and firm friends.

The class thoughtfully recognized years of service, in various jobs, by former Head Agent Henry Brezinski, past President Alan Epstein, 12-year Treasurer Lansing Reed, and reunion planner Ham Chase.

Who came? Gathering and staying in Norwich were: Hugh and Joan Chapin, Bill and Jean Hallager, George and Carolyn Bingham, Ham and Dottie Chase, Frank and Urs Weber, Alan and Sally Epstein, Phil and Barb Segal, Ed and Mary Grady, Fred and Liz Sistare, Bob "Enthusiastic Head Agent" and Mary Mortimer, Andy and Joan McCulloch, Jim and Judith Shanahan, and Joe Hayes with Sally Stram.

The above paraded, and we were joined by Townes and Joan Hairis, Lansing Reed, Zeke and Gloria Lanzillo, and all attended the class meeting. We also saw Bill and Jane Lynn and Skip and Neeley Dickinson at the BBQ. Bob and Irene Nelson sat with us at the banquet. Special mention goes to Bourke Welch, from Santa Maria, Calif., (east on business) who joined in each event, living proof that these functions can hold great appeal for those who are able to travel to Hanover.
