Brian O'Connor has been named to the faculty of the School of Library and Information Management at Emporia State University in Kansas. Brian received his Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, has been an independent film producer, and has taught studio and production courses in film and video.

Robert Raster, professor of classical languages and literature at the University of Chicago, has received a Guggenheim Fellowship for 1991 for his research on the history of ancient education. Bob has been on the faculty there since 1975 and has served as master of the humanities collegiate division.

John Spooner is now a division president with Frito-Lay and oversees the operations, management, and business-building role of its northern business division base. This would seem to indicate that we should get a deal on snacks for our next reunion.

Last month, I mentioned that Henry Fields has moved to Ohio. I neglected to include his new address as he requested: 4066 Fenwick Road, Upper Arlington, OH 43220.

Robert Wagner will serve as president of a $200-million development company in the San Francisco area. The company was created by the merger of Wagner's Prometheus Development Cos. and the Martin Group, two of the largest developers in the Bay area.

I ran into Tupper Kinder at the middle-school cross-country meet a few weeks back while both our daughters were out running in the woods somewhere, Tupper is still in environmental law but now in private practice rather than working for the state of New Hampshire.

The get-together at the Cornell game was disappointing and we sorely missed the talents of Karen Stableford (yeah, Bill, we missed you, too). The game, however, was exciting, and the weather was great. Make plans now to attend next year.

Take care and write.
