Malcolm Gray '51, son of Shorty, writes to send best wishes to all the class. Word has been received of the death in 1987 of Elmer Palmer. Elly was very active in Akron, Ohio, affairs.

I called Jim and Mary Davis at Christmas time and talked to Mary. They are about the same as usual. Their daughter, Polly, was visiting them.

I had a difference of opinion with the Alumni Magazine about a picture of a class at reunion in prison garb. After extensive research I am satisfied 1919 wore prison suits at our fifth reunion in 1924.
