It's going to be a short one this month. I'm in my final stages of pregnancy number two, and it seems like my work schedule heats up just to make things interesting so I'll give you a quick few updates.
Lisa Conti, whom I wrote about several months ago, was recently featured in International Business. Lisa's start-up farm Shaman Pharmaceuticals, will soon have its first drug tested by the Food and Drug Administration. The company has already signed an equity marketing deal with an Italian drug company and has a similar deal pending with a U.S. firm. Seems like things are continuing to go well.
Holly and Paul Becker write that the entire family, including four-year-old daughter Hillary and baby Lindsay, are all doing well. Holly is still at Lawrenceville, though she has traded much of her admissions-related work for college counseling work. Paul has recently completed a booklet about his recovery.
Beth Shapiro Lewyckyj writes that she husband Ray, and three-and-a-half-year-old daughter Elise were joined by new baby Jonathan on December 4. After a quick three months at home, Beth is back part-time as an economist for the two kids weren't hectic enough, both Beth and Ray are busy with graduate programs in economics.
Patti Marchand Bradbury had her second baby on February 20. Christopher William, who weighed in just under seven pounds, joins older sister Kathenne. (I'm envious about the 25-percent difference in weight between her kid and my first baby, and I hope this next. baby decides to be a little smaller.) The Bradburys are living in upstate Connecticut, where Patti is one of five partners in an ob/ gyn practice. After maternity leave Patti will be returning to work on a slightly reduce schedule, but she'll still be taking her share of "on call" duty!
Write or call with news. Cheers
