I don't know what tie weather has been like in other parts of the country, but there's definitely something wrong with the ozone layer if it's been in She high-60s in Chicago, and it's snowing in Israel! As this is being written, March Madness is starting, spring fever is gearing up, and I am desperately trying to finish two term papers. In addition, the flow of news has slowed to a trickle this month, and my creative juices are pretty low. So bear with me on this one . . .

The Valley Business Journal recently ran an article about two Dartmouth alums who are trying to break into the entertainment business: Dave Wtorkowski and Al Samuels '88, who have been making many of us laugh for years in "Said and Done" and are now trying to spread happiness and laughter throughout the Upper Valley. They have been performing their improv acts for a variety of groups, averaging around three shows per week (including charity events), and they conduct workshops to teach the art of improvisational comedy.

Tim Reynolds writes that he is still working for 92 PRO-FM radio, the #1 station in Southern New England. Part of his job is meeting famous people like Eddie Money, Debbie Gibson, Metallica, Michael Bolton, Rod Stewart, and more! In other music news, Chris Haines and Anu Kirk are working day jobs in Los Angeles while trying to succeed as rockstars in Shockwork.

Josh Hofheimer recently left L.A. for a four-month trip to Southeast Asia. He wrote from Bali, where he planted rice in a rice paddy, played in a local soccer match, took a bath in a stream, and taught an English class all in one day! Last I heard, he was on his way to climb an active volcano!

Tim also sent along the news that LindaRicci is making it through Yale Law with Robbie Braceras, while Dan Burak has retired from being a cowboy and is now in Chicago (I guess I'll have to follow up on that one).

It's good to know that some '91s are keeping the Dartmouth "work hard, play hard" motto alive. Joan Winchester, Debvan Winkle, and Dave Bartels were recently out at Vail visiting Laurie Khelolrian and Rich Bryon '90 and doing some skiing. While there they ran into Rick Setzer at a reggae concert, where he was working as a security guard.

It seems as though some of us might never get a break from working hard. Teddy Rous is at the University of Maryland Medical School with Keith Howell and Duke Pao.Darshana Patel is in her first year at the law school there. Other '91s in the Baltimore area include Kerry Talty, who is teaching and coaching lacrosse at the Bryn Mawr School, and Karen Evans, who is at the Uniformed Health Services School of Medicine in Bethesda. Jen Menge worked in an immunology lab there last Fall and is now completing her last term at Dartmouth.

It seems like I'm always finishing these columns with a plea for people to send me news about what you're doing. In fact, I had a backlog of letters that went back a few months, but now I'm completely up-to-date, which means that I have no new news to write about. This is serious. I'll have to start printing reruns. Speaking of which, did you see that "Happy Days" reunion last month? That really brought back childhood memories! On that note, how many of you are going to your fifth high school reunion this spring? It's hard enough to believe that it's almost a year since we graduated from Dartmouth!

Hopefully I'll see many of you over Green Key, May 15-16, if I can get more American Express vouchers (one of the few perks of still being a student).
