Reflections on die 55sth Reunion continue. Pictures of classmates bring back memories. You'll see some in the Mint-Bag, ably edited by Mort Berkowitz and BillRotch. Bill Dixon was shooting with his Leica while Bet was following him widi her sureshot to be sure. The flashes were popping, so there should be many good photos. On Wednesday morning we assembled on the Murdough Center steps for the class picture. Often they are not very good, but the 55th picture in living color is excellent. If you would like a copy, write Dexter Pierce, P.O. Box 133, Hanover, NH 03755 and enclose ten dollars.

More reunion kudos: to Frank Young for his inspiring message at the memorial service for 28 deceased classmates; to Lee Stearns and Liz McCoy for planning a delightful dinner on Wednesday at the Lyme Inn for those who stayed another day; and to WillBrown for organizing a '37 Cabin and Trail Reunion Thursday noon at the Moosilauke Ravine Lodge. It was attended by 55 classmates who enjoyed a delicious lunch prepared by Dartmouth undergraduate summer employees. Will is on the advisory board of this mountain retreat which provides students with an experience that makes Dartmouth so different from other schools.

Quiz Question: which classmates have attended all our reunions from the sth to die 55th? Please write or call your secretary. Are Bankert, Roewer, Robin, Putnam, Rotch,Berkowitz, and Stearns candidates?

President Stearns has appointed Fran Fenn head class agent for the next five years. The final report of our Reunion Gift to Dartmouth was $298,000, which exceeded our goal of $280,000. Congratulations to Lem Bowen,Jane Handrahan, and all the agents.

Mini-reunion will be September 18-19 for the Penn game. Co-chairmen Blaisdell and Johannessen have another great weekend planned. See you in Hanover.

Seven classmates represented the class at the memorial service at St. Lukes Episcopal church in White River on July 5 for FrankIrwin, who died after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease.

We regret to note the death of WesWallenius on June 5.
