Among this month's news is word that Richard Harvey was named a director of North American Biologicals Inc., a major supplier of human blood plasma to the health care industry. Rich is the president of BNY Associates Inc.
Michael Roberts was appointed secretary of Harvard University.
Brian Copeland has been named head of the division of neurosurgery at Scripps Clinic and Research Foundation in La Jolla, Calif. He served as a neurosurgeon consultant to the New York State Department of Health and a board member of the Center for Neurologic Study in San Diego. He was in private practice for five years prior to joining Scripps Clinic. Concurrent with his duties at Scripps, he served for two years as chair of the department of neurosciences and chief of neurosurgery at San Diego's Children's Hospital.
DuPont in 1976 as a state government affairs attorney, served as regional manager of state and local government affairs for Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina 1984-87, and as director of federal legislative affairs from 1987 until his most recent promotion. Before joining DuPont, he was an associate with the Milwaukee law firm of Foley and Lardner. He and his wife, Susan, together with their three children David James, Victoria, and Caroline, live in Bethesda, Md.
Barry Brink continues to have a practice in clinical and pediatric psychology in Fort Worth, Texas. His wife, Lela, is a pediatric intensive care physician at the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas, is involved in the administration of the pediatric transport network for Dallas Children's Medical Center, and attends the center's various ICU's. Their youngest daughter, Danielle, age nine, is in the third grade.
Barry writes: "I would like to be the first to announce my attendance at our 25th Reunion in June 1996. I will be arriving a week early. My daughter Malia was recently accepted to Dartmouth and will be a member of the class of 1996. Thus, June 1996 will be a very special month for my family. I also anticipate coming to Hanover more often in the next four years and, while there, I will be forced to take in a football game or two and see if eastern skiing still resembles ice skating."
