The recent Campaigners have contained a full account of our great 65th Reunion. We can now consign it to history and start planning for the 70th. Any hardy soul who takes on the job of organizing that one will have a tough time matching the performance of Jerry Sass at our recent one. His reputation as the supreme reunion organizer no doubt will remain untarnished.

The classmates seem to have remained largely inactive since the recent get-togeth- er at the Hanover Inn. It is noted that Curly Prosser’s portrait graces a recent issue of the Dartmouth Medicine in tribute to his fundrais- ing efforts.

Larry Kenney, bless him, actually wrote me and enclosed a clipping about one of the leading artists of our class, Jimmy Motague. It seems Jimmy lectured on the subject of art at the Dorset Free Public Library, as report- ed in the Vermont News Guide. The remark- able thing about this item is not that Jimmy is still going strong, although this is certain- ly good news. The thing that dazzles me is that good old Larry sent me an item unso- licited. I think it is the third or fourth that I have received in my five years as secretary. The dam is broken. Let die news flow.

Jack Zellers reports the marriage of yet another grandson. He already has three great- grandchildren, which puts him a couple ahead of us. We have only one candidate for the class of 2014.

With regret I report the death of Stretch Davis on May 4.
