The late Line Davis was very resourceful and plucky. He lived alone. His faithful nurse Cora gave him loving care, attending and cooking for him. Also, his other helper Loretta served capably at alternate hours. Line was a very loyal member of the class, craving contacts and corresponding often. Cora wrote that in his last days, he sat against the wall because of weakness in his limbs. He said just before he died, "I suppose all good things come to an end." So like Line. Remember in his poem about aging, he wrote, "With the years we see things in new connections." We admired his rich, strong personality and loved his wit, which he dispensed generously. He will be missed sorely, along with the rest who have just died.

News from Ellie Norris, Mollie Bates, and Betty Sleigh in April column, and notes on Morrison and MacMillan. Thought for the month: Line taught us not to complain!
