Lafayette, Calif., sculptor Wheatley Allen, whose bronzes of eagles were favorite state gifts of President Reagan, recently presented a snow goose, commissioned by a California businessman, to Mikhail Gorbachev. MichaelMoriarty conducted his own Symphony for String Orchestra for the first time at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine in New York. The Rev. Edward Aller was honored by his community for his 25 years as pastor of St. Thomas Lutheran Church in Grosse Ile, Mich.
A splendid mini-reunion at fall Homecoming was highlighted by cocktails hosted by Barbara and Dean Edson, Hanover, and a candlelight dinner at the restored home and barn of Sally and Bob Barnum in Lyme, N.H.
