Medical Center Boulevard, Winston- Salem NC 27157-1015 Just a short follow-up on '62's enjoyable Homecoming Weekend mini-reunion, attended by all our class officers, many of them with spouses, and at various times of the weekend by some 20-plus additional classmates and wives. The still-special bonfire and Dartmouth Night program were enhanced by libations, food, and fellowship at John andJill Schiffinan's. After our early Saturday class meeting we '62s convened at Tuck Drive for brunch and bloodies that energized our successful cheering of Dartmouth to its come-from-behind victory over Ffarvard. Later we came together for cocktails and dinner at Fahrenbrae, which were topped off by a surprise two-inch snowfall.

John and Nancy Miller received the distance-traveled award having come from their Corona Del Mar, Calif., home to participate. Perhaps the Millers should not get credit since they were able to combine class reuning with a visit with their '96 daughter. Credit should also be given to Frank and BarbaraMilon, who traveled from Florida, to Jim andMamie Hanes from Pittsburgh, and to DonSamuelson from Chicago. It was especially good to see Bob and Eleanor Stiegler, who joined us from Scottsboro, Ala. Also present were Al and Arja Rapoport and Bernie andElaine Jacobs.

In addition to reminiscing and sharing good cheer and friendship, '62s convened early Saturday morning for a productive and thought-provoking class meeting led by TomKomerek. Tom urged that we support in number and effort Head Agent Ben Vogel, who will provide the leadership to assure the success of this year's Alumni Fund. It was great to have Ben and Renee with us, so shortly after Ben's severe bout with kidney stones. JoshRich brought us up to date on development with the Alumni Council, and John Clark similiarly informed us of developments with our class faculty fellowship. Gordy Williamson and John Schiffrnan kept us abreast of developments in Hanover. Treasurer Bill Sadd reported a surplus of $3,933.00 on our 30th Reunion. But we must be more diligent and timely in paying our class dues! The remainder of the meeting was devoted to a presentation by Gene Gasbaro on the efforts of the classes of '6O and '62 to establish a Dartmouth community outreach program to assist Dartmouth alumni who suffer from severe trauma or mental disease. More on this program will be presented as plans formalize.

I've received an announcement that CharlesF. Preuss has recently created the law firm of Preuss, Walker & Shanagher, based in San Francisco, which will specialize in civil litigation. Good luck to Chuck! Finally, yours truly attended the annual meeting and dinner of the Greenwich Country Day School, where I shared some moments with Colin E. Harley, who later presented a very uplifting treasurer's report to the parents and faculty. Colin, having nurtured two children through college now has a youngster at GCDS.
