"Back in the States after seven years, and mad about Helen Hunt."—ChadRosenberger
Well, Chad has finally returned from Eastern Europe. Unfortunately, he has returned with a wild crush on Helen Hunt and is wondering if any of our classmates out there in Hollywood could set something up. Chad also notes, "my time here in Boston is still spent on Eastern Europe. I'm rewriting all my old scholarly reports to make them into a marketable book on post-Communist nationalism.... I have also been asked to speak at rallies of the American Committee to Save Bosnia. The war is likely to get worse this summer, so I'll probably fly back to do some more reporting."
Gary Greene is pleased to announce the arrival of his daughter Emily Collier on February 23. (Actually, Gary's dad wrote me!) Gary and his wife both practice law, and all three of the Greens are doing very well, according to one proud grandpa!
Seems we have a lot of proud relatives out there—I received a fax from the future husband of Annalie Chapman, who has had an exciting career since Dartmouth. She started her own software company writing Macintosh applications early on, then decided to pursue cycling competitively and made the U.S. Cycling Team in 1991. She was selected as a member of the U.S. road team for the Olympic games in Barcelona. Unfortunately, she suffered chronic fatigue in 1993 and had to leave the world of professional cycling. She then decided to pursue a career in languages and was accepted in the Slavic linguistics program at UCLA. She plans on obtaining a Ph.D. and would love to teach at Dartmouth. And of course, she will be getting married soon as well. Thanks to her nameless future hubby for all the news!
