Newspapers occasionally list replies to reader questions such as: "What songs were popular in 1922?" (our freshman year being 1922). Well, for your information, some of the songs were "Carolina in the Morning," "Chicago, That Toddling Town," "I'll Build a Stairway to Paradise, "Toot, Toot, Tootsie! (Goo' Bye), and "Way Down Yonder in New Orleans."

In each of five consecutive generations of Charles Gibson's family there has been one person named Charles Gibson. His address in West Newton, Mass., is the same as it was when he arrived at Dartmouth.
