Congratulations to Dr. William J. Reid, a recipient of the South Boston Boys and Girls Club's Alumnus of the Year Award. Bill, for many years the teacher and principal of many of those young people, has thus been added to an impressive list of citizens who have given so much of themselves and their energy back to the kids of South Boston.

Hank Werner says he could be feeling better, but is very proud of his son Tom's accomplishments, for which we can't blame him. Five shows on prime time this fall—3rd Rock From the Sun on NBC, Cybill and a new Cosby Show on CBS, Roseanne and Grace Under Fire on ABC. (He relaxes as part-owner of the San Diego Padres.)

John and Dorothy Randall have moved—same city, but new address: 1840 North Prospect Ave., Apt. 419 Milwaukee,WI 53202-1962.

John Anderson's Tower Society, which he founded 20 years ago at University School in Cleveland, is still setting all kinds of fundraising records. It has now raised more than $8,500,00 for US, and has placed the school at the top of per capita giving among the nation's comparable prep schools. An annual membership requires a minimum s1,000-per-year gift. John says the average is now approaching $2,000, so the school is now aiming at that figure by the year 2000.
