In my constant search for news I call Jack Zellers, among others, regularly. Generally he cheerfully informs me he has no news. This time he startled me by saying he had just got home from attending a New York Mets/Los Angeles Dodgers baseball game in New York It seems his grandson put in the winning bid on a Mets box which was offered at a fond-raiser at his great grandson's nursery school So the whole family attended the game in style. I he Mets won and pleased the Zellers. Somehow, it s delightful to find a classmate who is still going places and doing things.

One of the leading contributors to our Alumni Fund Marjorie D. Rockwell, Dick Rockwell's widow, died recently I am informed that she left approximately $3.5 million to the College to establish scholarships in honor of Dick.

Ed Flanders had my proxy when he attended the Class Officers Weekend. His report on this and the class meeting held at the time will be reported in a forthcoming Campaigner. Evidently, as usual, nothing much happened. In lieu of news, Ed our class poet in a pensive mood, offered thisWho can look into the heart of a flower/And not see the hand of omnipotent power?
