Betsy '77 and Richard Morse have moved to Chapel Hill, N.C., where she works parttime as an ob-gyn nurse practitioner and he works as a staff member at Duke University in pediatric neurology. "We love this area," says Richard, "and our children, Ainsley (13), Alexander (11), Rachel (8) do, too."

Sarah Bayldon Beaman and her family just returned from three years in Stuttgart, Germany, where her husband, William Beaman, worked with computers for the Department of Defense. Now Sarah, William, Roger 7, Emily 4, and Hannah 1, are living in Falls Church, adjusting to life in America and unpacking boxes.

Tom Fox have been a correspondent with Agence France-Presse (AFP) in Bangkok for the past two years, capping off eight years in Thailand. "Four years ago I got married to Suchada Nilmag. I met her at the Orderly Departure Program for Vietnamese trying to go to the states. (She is Thai not Vietnamese.) I met the big four-o without much panic by going scuba diving as much as possible."

Kevin Wilkey is one of several '78s who were present for the switchover in Hong Kong. Kevin is a lawyer for Bankers Trust. Paula McLeod has her own firm, Strategic Directions Consultants. (Her husband, Jamie, is with Morgan Stanley.)

Mark Graber is an associate professor of government at the University of Maryland. His wife, Julia Bess Frank, is a professor of psychiatry. They have three kids: Naomi 11, Abigail 10, and Rebecca 7.

Mike Coffin is a research scientist in marine geophysics at the University of Texas in Austin. He's done research projects on the Macquarie Ridge plate tectonic boundary south of New Zealand, on the Solomon Islands plate tectonic boundary, and on the origin and development of the Kerguelen Plateau in the southern Indian and Antarctic Ocean, done fellowships at the University of Oslo in 1992 and 1996, and along the way he discovered that the entire earth's mantle circulates episodically. Mike has also gone alpine mountaineering in Norway, heliskiing in British Columbia, sailing off the coast of Maine, toured Japan and the Kruger National Park in South Africa, and danced as a supernumerary in the British Royal Ballet's production of Swan Lake (1992) and Sleeping.Beauty (1994).
