Elizabeth Latham recently won statewide recognition in Massachusetts where she had the highest November 1996 CPA score. By blowing away the lesser bean counters, Elizabeth received the Gold Medal from the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants. She currently works as an accountant at Carr, Staples and Accardi, P.C., in Haverhill, Mass.

Kate Pesek Sackman and family have moved across the pond to London. Kate will continue in her role as president/CEO of the family business located in Lake Forrest, Ill., which just received FDA approval for a line of health monitors.

Jim Mott had his artwork featured as an exhibit at Holderness School in New Hampshire recently. The exhibit is titled "Spirit and Place: A Selection of Landscape Painting's" by Jim Mott. Following Dartmouth, Jim obtained his M.F.A. in painting from Michigan, and has received several grants to pursue his artistic interest. When not expressing himself on canvas, Jim also operates his own housepainting and carpentry business.

Todd Audsley is making a splash in the architecture community in upstate New York. Todd was recently the big cheese in the lecture hall as Genesee Community College's arts and letters lecturer. Todd spoke about architectural trends and developments in the Rochester, N.Y., area, as well as ways of using local materials and design techniques to build more pleasing structures. Todd obtained his architecture degree from SUNY Buffalo, and is currently writing two books on architecture in addition to managing a number of architecture and building projects.

From the Lawyers In Love Department, John "Tex" Strawn and his wife, Allison, announced the July 15th birth of their son, Peter John "JR" Strawn. JR joins sister Emory in the Houston, Tex., Strawn enclave. JR was over 7 pounds, 19 inches long, and was palming two Dennis Rodman Spaulding basketballs at birth.
