Reunion reminder: our 20th is this June 13-15. There's still time to mark your calendars and sign up. In January JeffImmelt was named president and CEO of GE Medical Systems, headquartered in Milwaukee. Jeff moved over from GE Plastics in Pittsfield, Mass., where he was vice president of the Americas. Since 1982 Jeff has held a succession of heavyweight positions in the GE empire, from corporate marketing to product management for GE appliances. Said GE Chairman John Welch, "Jefflmmeltis a dynamic, entrepreneurial business leader. We are very excited about the growth prospects for GE Medical Systems, and Jeff is the perfect person to maximize this global opportunity."

Jeff Krolik reports that all is well in Northern California. He's still GM at Sports Channel and Christine is involved in volunteer activities in Hillsborough and at the Magic Theatre in San Francisco. "The boys—John 8 and Billy 5—are in great shape. The best news is how much money I must be making, based on Steve Mandel's recommended Reunion contribution. We are in touch with the Pierces, Murphys,Endicotts, Hoffinans, and Hodgsons."

Ted Arnold, wife Tori, and baby Eliza moved from San Francisco to Portland, Maine. "The combination of a long, harsh winter and a relative lack of economic opportunity proved impossible to resist," says Ted, who is still showing paintings with the Catherine Clark Gallery in San Francisco and looking for a New York connection.

Kevin Bixby is still fighting the good fight in Southern New Mexico [Las Cruces] as director (and founder) of the Southeast Environmental Center. "My wife, Lisa Larocque, is also in the environmental field, as director (and founder) of project Del Rio. We have a beautiful 3-year-old daughter named Keara. Our proximity and focus on the Rio Grande makes me wonder about the whereabouts of Tony Anella, Peter Lewitt, PeterChristie, and Anat Feingold." (Answers: architecting in Albuquerque; Newtonville, Mass.; Houston; and St. Christopher's Children's Hospital in Philly.)

In October Molly and Scott Marber moved to Seattle with four kids under four years old, two cats, one nanny, and a snake named Bartholomew Cubbins. Says Scott, "I took on the role of senior VP, sales and marketing, of Care Wise, a nurse-coun- selling/disease-management company. If I do my job, we'll go public this year. If I don't, I'll be fighting Bartholomew over crickets."

Brenda andSteve Ceurvorst are enjoying the sweet challenge of raising four kids (Luke 8, Sarah 6, Matt 4, and Christian 2) in Wexford, Pa. Steve still manages the loan syndications group at Mellon Bank.

Will Fraizer had a busy year in 1996 still living in Danville, working for Chevron—but transferred to a new job working on technology development. "Business travel took me to Nigeria, Venezuela, and western Australia in the latter half of the year. I spent the first half of the year in the U.S.A.—the longest stretch in the country since 1990! Enjoyed snow skiing at Lake Tahoe and Yosemite and water skiing at Lake Shasta. Worked on a volunteer crew at Yosemite developing a nature trail at Mirror Lake. Hope to be in Hanover in June."

Kay McKusick Ralston and Matthew Ralston '75 reported the Dec. 1 birth of Scott McKusick Ralston. Kay is still with Perkins, Thompson, Hinckley & Keddy in Portland, Maine.

Ending years of frustrating servitude on one of the most hapless of NFL franchises, Nick Lowery was liberated in February by new New York Jets coach Bill Parcells. Presumably Nick will spend next season on a team that crosses the 50-yard line more than twice a game. The most prolific field goal kicker of all time, Nick has kicked 383 in 17 years. He is second on the NFL's career scoring list with 1,711 points, needing 292 to pass George Blanda.
