Michele Boyle Okabe is now working from her Piedmont, Calif., home, which affords her more time to spend with one-year-old Christopher. Her business involves setting up alternative wholesale and retail distribution for consumer products in the U.S. and overseas.
Joel Brant joined the law firm of Katz, Teller, Brant & Hild this summer. No, he didn't make partner just out of law school. He's an associate; there just happens to be a fellow with the same last name also working at the firm. A relation, perhaps?
And Pat Burtis is continuing to pursue music as a fulltime career. He's "doing the acoustic singer/songwriter" thing around New England, and this summer he helped produce and played at Nectarfest on Martha's Vineyard, a non-profit music festival that featured such performers as Bob Weir, David Crosby, Rickie Lee Jones, and Arlo Guthrie. Pat is also freelance writing, mainly ghost-writing for authors trying to publish in business periodicals.
Lame column this month because I'm lacking news. Anyone care to share?
