Pat yourself on the back. Or ask a friend to help out. That's because the class of 1966 raised more than $182K for the 1998-99 Alumni Fund drive. For context, that set a record for a non-reunion year and won the Green Derby Award (in which our totals are compared to classes of our vintage).

In all, 323 classmates (47 percent) contributed to the effort. In all, Dartmouth set a new Alumni Fund record of $20 million plus. Special thanks and congratulations to our co-head agents—Bob Spence and Peter Prichard.

If you haven't roamed around the robust Dartmouth web site recently, we commend it to your attention. You can jump in through dartmouth.edu. And to get to the hottest spot in cyberspace try this hyperlink: www.alum.dartmouth.org/classes/'66. This will bring you directly to our class of 1966 pages, where you will find a veritable cornucopia of information about classmates and class activities. Webmaster Chuck Sherman works 24x7 to maintain the site. After 22 years your correspondent has left Grey Advertising and is now VP of marketing communications at the American Management Association, a global not-for-profit educational institution dedicated to improving value for individuals and organizations by teaching management and business best practices. Still at it, in year 16, on the White Plains (N.Y.) Board of Education.
