This month I have an assortment of news. To begin with, Jared Schensky graduated cum laude from Harvard Law School this past June and is presently working in Chicago for the firm of Sidley & Austin as an associate. Congratulations to both Jared and his wife, Holly (Patterson) Schensky, on their move to Chicago.

On the wedding/engagement front, Debra (Baltzer) Thomas wrote from Boston with a lot of news. Jodi Walker and Jeff Crisan were engaged this past August. Apparently Jeff proposed in Hanover and the wedding will take place there in June 2001. Right now, Jodi works as a trial lawyer at the Boston firm Goodwin, Procter & Hoar. Jeff currently works at Bain Capital and is applying to business school.

In addition, Debra wrote to say that she was the maid of honor at the wedding of Deb Nathanson and Scott Cushman in Tarrytown, N.Y., this past August. Both Deb and Scott live in Boston. Deb works for Houghton Mifflin writing elementary textbooks. Scott works for ATG as a computer programmer.

And, Debra let me know that JJ Betts married Amanda Manning this past September in Chicago. Brian Clark was the best man and gave a great toast. BartRoundtree was also in the wedding party. According to Debra, the wedding was a wonderful time and lots of '95s were in attendance. The happy couple is currently honeymooning in South Africa.

Speaking of Bart Roundtree, Debra also mentioned that he is engaged to Lisa Ericsson. The couple will be married in New Jersey in September 2000.

Last, Debra dropped me some news about herself. She is married to James Thomas '94 and both are corporate lawyers in Boston

Ending the column for the month, our reunion co-chairs Allison Thoreson and Allison Ruff wanted me to remind you to mark your calendars for our up-coming Fifth Reunion. The reunion dates are Friday, June 16, through Sunday, June 18, 2000, and will take place, obviously, in Hanover. This will be a great chance to see old friends and Dartmouth again. Hope you will plan on attending.
