I have learned to accept, somewhat grudgingly, the physical limitations imposed by advancling age. Nevertheless, I am grateM for all aids in overcoming such limitations, so whenever I put on my canvas shoes I give thanks to Mr. Velcro for developing those easy fasteners. Would that they were provided on all my footgear!
In further pursuit of surviving classmates I called Albert Lerer, who lives in Delray Beach, Fla., which sounds pleasant and warm. Like the rest of us he isn't doing much now but in the past was commander of the Delray Beach Power Squadron, a boating group. He and his wife travel a bit for entertainment. He has given up golf for some reason. I have some other notes about him but, unfortunately, I can't decipher them. I must remember to take a course in reading my own writing. I'll put down Al as semi-active.
