Greetings from New York City! While MonicaOberkofler is finishing up her Ph.D. at Oxford University in England, I will be filling in as class secretary until our Fifth Reunion, so be sure to send all your news to me at the e-mail or address below. I've been in New York since graduation and have had the fortunate opportunity to see fellow alumni quite often. This happened recently when I bumped into Janet Lieberman at the gym. I hadn't seen Janet in a while so she gave me an update. Janet tells me that she is still working in trading at U.S. Trust and that she is helping out with the N.Y.C. Dartmouth Alumni Association website. I've also run into Janny Bae a few times up at Columbia, where she just started her first year at the School of International and Public Affairs. Janny sees Jun Tsutsumi often, who is in her second year at Fordham Law School, and tells me that MattGiger finished NYU Law School this past spring and is currently clerking for a judge in San Francisco, where Kenji Uematsu is working. Johnny Kao is also in New York City, where he is in his fourth year at Mt. Sinai Medical School. Johnny tells me that he sees MarkCicirelii and Brandon del Pozo occasionally. And yes, Brandon is still working for NYPD. Some other news, outside of New York; Via e-mail I've heard from HermanChiang, who left Chicago this past summer and is currently overseas in Taipei, Taiwan.

Herman had the unfortunate luck to be in Taiwan when the big earthquake hit. However, except for experiencing some major shaking and power outages, he is fine and was able to begin his new job in investment banking at ING Barings.

I've also received a few postcards from Kathleen Rose, who is in Houston, Texas, working for a computer company. Kathy tells me that she recently met up with Michele Chang, who is working in N.Y.C., to go horseback riding in Colorado Springs.

And congratulations to BrendanDoherty, who joined the Peace Corps this past September and will be in Tegucigalpa, Honduras for the next two years.

Well, that's about all the news for now. If you have any news to share for the next month, please make sure to drop me a line.
