First reports from the worldwide hacking incident blamed a young man "from Hanover." I thought: "Not someone at Dartmouth!" Later reports ID'd the hacker as from Hannover, Germany.

At two evening "chats" by President Wright, Dean Larimore and a trustee in January to discuss the student life initiative, only some 75 and 50 students participated. Why so few if they feel so critical as initial reactions indicated?

The last tissue of the Medical School's Alumni News lists Chuck Richards as DMS '37 class editor. Chuck attended DMS 1935-38, graduated from Western Reserve Med School as urologist, served in the Army 1941-44, and in 1948 married Louise Cocke, R.N. How about a Green Card, Chuck.?

Marge Fitzherbert (Mrs. Arthur Tibbits, Williams '37) had Pete's daughter Nancy and civil engineer husband Ron Walker fly in from England to Sonoma, Calif., wine country. After some skiing at Lake Tahoe, they flew to "our favorite ranch near Tucson, where Pete's ashes are buried under a special cactus garden." Family time, family memories.

Isabel (Mrs. Red) Pounder reminds us about the Dartmouth Memorial Book Program, remembering lost classmates. Write her at 231 Main St., #21, West Harwich, MA 02671-1227.

The judge in the Microsoft case, Thomas Penfield Jackson, is my nephew Donald Aitken's 1958 classmate. Those in computers compliment him for his "coherent interpretive essay of the industry." TheNew York Times wrote he "seems a natural as a judge, a big man, white-haired, avuncular." He steered the trial to his findings in less than a year.
