This Class Notes column is brought to you, primarily, by Debbie Rosenberg, who is still living in Chicago, Illinois. Debbie is presently a senior consultant with Tigris. Her current client is located in scenic Southfield, Michigan. (Secretary's Note: I think she's being sarcastic.) This assignment requires her to travel four days a week. Putting a positive spin on the situation, Debbie writes that all of the flight attendants are beginning to recognize her. In fact, she says it feels just like Cheers. Debbie sends news of '9ss with whom she has kept in touch. Melissa Trumbull is getting her master's in counseling at DePaul University. Melissa is looking forward to starting an internship in January so she can practice on real patients. Apparently Melissa has been using her friends as her test cases. Molly (Corrigan) Cronin just bought a new house in Edina, Minnesota, with her husband, Pat. Molly is now working on internal projects at her company Digital River. Janet Heiss is living in San Francisco, California, and is doing well at her new venture capital firm Charles River Ventures. Janet also "kicked butt" in her first half- Ironman. Apparently Janet has graduated from running plain old marathons. Jon and Laurie (Lewis) Shapiro are the proud parents of a new baby girl. Although petite at 5 pounds, 3 ounces, Julia Brooke Shapiro is very happy and healthy, as are her parents. Hannah Roberts has completed her first year of residency at Yale and is well on her way in her medical career. Geoffrey and Susan (LoCurto) Willison moved to Hingham, Massachusetts, where they bought their first house. Geoffrey has graduated from business school and will be working at Boston Consulting Group. Their little girl Cara Grace is almost at her first birthday. Courtney (Murphy) Hewson is entering the second, and possibly last, year of her master's degree. Courtney and her husband John, live on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, New York.

The last piece of news is from Ken Harker, who wrote to announce that he has become engaged to Jen Sims '96. The wedding is planned for October 2002 in Austin, Texas. Presendy Ken and Jen are living in Austin. Jen will soon begin a new job with a start-up microprocessor venture called Intrinsity. Ken is working for a start-up company called Matrix.Net.Ken is also working on a Ph.D. in computer science at the University of Texas, Austin.
