There's lots to report this edition, so I will jump right in. Paul Schoenhard writes: On June 81 had the pleasure of serving as a groomsman at the wedding of Sean Byrnes and Jaime Dodge. The wedding, held in Simsbuiy, Connecticut, could not have been lovelier, and I wish the two of them the best. This spring Sean completed his master's in computer science at Cornell and will be working at Verizon in Waltham, Massachusetts. Jaime will be attending the Harvard Law School in the fall. The two will move to Cambridge this summer after returning from their honeymoon in Costa Rica. Molly Lacy served as the maid-of-honor. She just completed her first year at Washington University Medical School and continues to reside in St. Louis. A reading was delivered by David Waltimeyer Ph.D.'98. Also in attendance were Seth Hitchings with Erica Blachman, Joe Levine, Steve Magoun with Lauren Hickey, Jeremy Neill, Andrew Perlstein and Dan Scholnick with Melissa Singh 01. Rounding out the Dartmouth contingent were Jocelyn Miller '01, Mike O'Donnell '01, Mike Ringenberg '99, MS'01, Ned Roos '83, Will Trepp '02 and Alison Lafleur '01 and Rick Trepp '67, Tu'68. Not in attendance—but the life of the bachelor party—was Jarrod Boland. As for me, I am spending my summer working in sunny Palo Alto before returning for my second year at Harvard Law. I never fail to run into fellow '00s around the country and hope the trend continues."
Ben Rifkin finally got himself ajob in Boulder, Colorado. "I pretended I was Ben Affleck from Mall Rats for a couple months and will avoid malls at all costs for the rest of my life. I'm now the editorial coordinator for Ski Net.com, an online ski publication, owned by Mike Lewis's company (AOL/TW). Christian Budde and will be teaching reading to America's youth. Jules Kesner may be moving out too, as soon as he gets rid of whatever bug he picked up off the streets of India.' Bruce Kennedy reports that Rory de Wilde came into New York for a weekend, "recently returned (fully intact and in good health) from the savage jungles of East Timor. Alex Shults, Drew McCracken and I got together with Rory for some drinks and to enjoy whiskey, cigars and chocolate that Rory brought with him from Europe. Rory will be studying developmental economics at LSE. Alex is starting law school at NYU and Drew has moved to Washington to work on Capitol Hill." Kristen Scopaz spent the winter and spring in rehab for knee surgery and studying to take the MCATs and then headed out to the pacific Northwest to lead a bike-touring trip run by Overland, a program that offers outdoors trips for kids. "My co-leader and I led 12 16-year-olds over 800 miles on our bikes from Seattle to San Francisco. It was an amazing experience filled with challenges, rewards, fun and gorgeous scenery. Now I have joined the ranks in Boston as I start my job at Massachusetts General Hospital in clinical research." I've heard through the grapevine that many fellow '00s have begun Various graduate programs this fall. At Dartmouth Medical School alone, you'll find Kelly Bodio, Liz Martin, Matt Babineau, Shilpa Lamba and Pete Burrage (who's participating in the M.D/Ph.D. program) in their first months of medical school. Also, Jen Mullen just relocated to D.C. to attend Georgetown Law School. Congratulations and good luck!
