Welcome and most enjoyable was the seasons greetings card I got from Vanca Dickerman, "Old Pew," as we former residents of Delancey in Philadelphia knew him. The first paragraph described the party and hangovers we had in our rented apartment, after which we were told to leave. The second memory detailed our fifth reunion with a faded print (upside down) showing our behinds with "13" on each. Vance wishes it weren't so far from San Diego to Hanover.

The news from here ain't good. I twisted my right knee and had a couple of falls, putting me under medical supervision. No broken bones but a plethora of bruises, which are gradually healing. Did not pay enough attention to the old Russian proverb, "Don't get old, but if you do, don't get sick."

No losses to report, thank goodness, and I made it to my 92nd birthday today.
