Hope you had healthy holidays! I have received news of the passing of Arthur Amos Segal, who died August 2,2001, in New York City. He was assistant corporation counsel in New York City law department and became head of the tax division in 1937. He is survived by wife Natalie, son Matthew of Manhattan, daughter Ann Thomas of California, a granddaughter, a grandson and two great-grandsons.
I'm sorry to say that I have had no other news. No one seems to be able to take the time or has the energy to let me hear from them. So, I'll tell you about me!
I have been adopted by the class as a member of '27! I received a letter from Jim Wright telling me so and accepting me in the Dartmouth Family. I have never been so honored! I am more than happy! It is based on the time I've given to the class and the College since Sam, my husband, died in 1976. How pleased he would be. Dartmouth my second college! I love it and always have.
Cheers!
