Fifty years ago, this is our final semester at Dartmouth. Now we are planning to commemorate our wonderful four years with a lot of help from the College and some very busy classmates. Chief among them is Bill Montgomery, who, with Pete Zischke, is chairing the reunion. With 54 percent of the class responding, we have more than 200 acceptances. Bill estimates 235 classmates will attend, which will be a reunion record. A few quick notes, Joe Baute has joined the board of directors of PC Connection Inc., "a marvelous place to shop for computers." Joe is on the board of Houghton Mifflin and was chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston. During his career Joe was chairman and chief executive officer of Markem Corp. After graduating from the College he received an M.E. degree from Thayer. Chuck Queenan was the keynote speaker at the Annual Red Mass of the Bar Association in Pittsburgh. This historic Catholic ceremony marks the opening of the courts in the fall term in most major cities in the United States and Europe.
Jim Fowler is and has been the secretary of the class of 1960 at the Darden School, University of Virginia. Welcome to the fraternity, Jim.
