Lauren Taggart sent in some details from her November wedding: "Baxter Wasson '98 and I spent the month of October in Australia on our honeymoon and returned to our new home in Washington, D.C., to get married on November 17. Yes, it was a little backwards. We had in fact, planned on having a traditional honeymoon after the wedding, but our original wedding date was September 15. We postponed the wedding for obvious reasons. We were married in my hometown, McLean, Virginia, and had a reception at The National Museum of Women in the Arts in D.C. Our November wedding was all we could have hoped for and more. Among our friends was a huge Dartmouth contingent. Rebecca Hazard and Bea Radakovich were bridesmaids and Ainsley Ryan sang at the ceremony. I don't think there was a dry eye in the church when she sang Ave Maria." Carter Jackson '98 was the best man, supported by Brook Detterman '98 as one of the groomsmen. Also in attendance (and in fine form on the dance floor!) were '00s Courtney Banghart, Jeremy Hammond, Libby Huffman, Ayn Huntington, Taylor Jones, Anna McCall-Taylor, Sarah Macarah, Athena Maikish, Anne Murray, Paige Perry and Kamie Twomey. The '99s included Kate Botham, Dan Gestwick, Jaimie Pesche and his fiance Courtney Vanyo, Chris Showalter and Austin Whitman. The '98s present were Catherine Baumann and Erica McAuliffe." Lauren and Baxter are now living in D.C.

Jeff Zimpleman is in his second year as a Ph.D. student in chemistry at the Scripps Research Institute in San Diego. "My current project involves finding anticancer drugs. More specifically the compounds I'm working on will, I hope, stop resistant cancer cell lines from being resistant and perhaps even hypersensitize 'normal' cancer cells (so smaller doses of drugs are needed, and nasty side effects are fewer and less substantial)."
