Present returns indicate that we will have at least 75 people at our 65th reunion in Hanover on June 7-9. If you are not on that list and plan to attend, please notify me immediately.
Dorm space is being made available to us in Massachusetts Hall—convenient to all our activities. The College will be sending out reservation cards, separately from our reunion charge, which goes to our treasurer Bill Heroy. For more luxurious accommodations, see Alumni Mag ad- vertisements for alternatives.
The nicest thing about being your reunion chairman is receiving letters from old friends, some of whom I have not seen in 65 years. Johnny Palumbo was my roommate in College Hall in 1933. Ki Ayoob, now the retired editor of the Bangor daily, was my colleague in serving you "buffalo balls" in freshman Commons. And Joe Tardiff and Olive used to visit us in Florida, before they stopped coming south in the winter. They are now settled in Exeter, New Hampshire. Unfortunately, all have health problems in the family that will keep them from attending the reunion.
Chick Koop has finalized plans for the Fran Fenn memorial tree, and a plaque expressing our appreciation to John Johannessen.
The Rev. Franklin Young is completing plans for our memorial service, and we are relying upon Mort Berkowitz for a new directory. The alumni office had never seen as good a directory as you all did for our 6oth. We hope to keep our record intact.
Charlie and Ellen Collis are on top of all reunion plans. Jane Handrahan, Mary Fenn and Ruth Ray are doing a super job of rounding up widows for our June bash.
See you in June. Come you-all.
