Jonathan Risch married Alisha Wagner (University of Texas '89) in Houston, Texas, last August. The occasion allowed the freshman-year residents of first-floor McLane to gather to help the happy couple celebrate. The wedding was preceded by a traditional Texasstyle rehearsal dinner, with prominent coverage of UT football in the toasts and remarks. Jonathan has adjusted well to life in Texas, showing up at his rehearsal in a ten-gallon hat and a sheriffs badge. Luckily for all, the bride and groom resorted to more traditional black tie attire for the wedding ceremony. Mike Freidberg (yes, that's me) attended, along with my wife, Elizabeth, while our sons Jackson and Bennett stayed with their grandparents in Massachusetts. Quent Cote and his wife, Kelly McEwen, came from Acton, Massachusetts, while their daughters Claire, Maya and Sophie stayed with their grandparents as well. Pete Trump, now with Moxi Digital in California (a high-tech company whose mission is to take over everyone's homes starting with the living room), came with his wife, Dawn. Pete and Dawn moved into their new home in San Marcos, California, in December. Tom Molnar came from London and Steve Gaffney came from Los Angeles. Best man Earnest Wotring, a Houston resident himself, attended with his fiancee Ju Vega. Earnest is a partner at the newly formed law firm of Connelly Baker Wotring and Jackson LLP. All look forward to returning to Houston for Earnest and Jus wedding this spring.
