The thanks of the class go to Bob Kirsch and his reunion committee for our successful 55th reunion.

Frank Weber has worked hard to assure that the class met its 2002 goal of $247,000 for the College Fund.

Bob and Robbie Dodson planned to travel to Poughkeepsie, New York, with Al Colton s widow, Liz, to be there for the ladies' 55 th reunion at Vassar followed by travel to Hanover for our reunion. Townes Harris writes of getting together with Ev Nordstrom near Wilmington, North Carolina. Ev suffered a stroke in 2001, which has diminished somewhat his physical capacity but not his zest for life. Joe Marsh, president emeritus of Concord College in Athens, West Virginia, has given Concord College a 48-bell carillon, presendy installed in Marsh Hall on the campus. Daily concerts are being offered. Phil Booth conveyed his regrets in April. He and Margo live in Maine and had hoped to attend the reunion in Hanover but a physical problem interfered. He has given up sailing and presently is involved in giving away his library. Joe Eisaman writes of the birth of his first grandson in March. He also reports traveling to Santa Fe, New Mexico, where the scenery and shopping were enjoyable, as was skiing at Taos. George and Carolyn Bingham plan a trip to England in July. George has served us long and well as memorial book chairman and also in writing obituaries for deceased class members. He asks to be relieved of the obituary writing. The class owes him a vote of thanks for his years of work. Joe Hayes will be in touch with class members concerning our mini-reunion at the Norwich Inn on November 1-2, in conjunction with Dartmouth night and the Harvard football game.
