So is anyone (other than me) not reproducing these days? I suppose it beats (hee hee) tales of corporate scandal and impending war, but if anyone else wants to share stories of...urn...recreational...fun they've been having, I'd love to hear them (send me the x-rated versions and I'll transform them into PG-stories for the column). But for now, I will let the proud parents of the class of 2023 have the floor.

Sean and Laura (Bowdoin '95) Kinney celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary in August with the birth of their first child, Brooke. The Kinneys are doing well as Brooke slowly takes over the house. "What a transition," writes Sean, "from the basement of Heorot to responsible father in Sudbury, Massachusetts, in eight short years." Ted Kovas also writes to announce that he and wife Elissa welcomed their first child, Reed Kovas, into the world on June 14, 2002. "Reed is doing great," writes Ted. Jenny (Kim) Voelker also writes in to let us know that she and husband Marty "were blessed with the birth of a new baby boy, Thomas Voelker!" Thomas arrived on October 23,2002, just a few days after Julia (Caputo) Stift and husband Todd welcomed their new son, Thomas Caputo Stift, into the world on October 14,2002. "Thomas is truly the best thing that ever happened to us" writes Julia. "Howe we get so lucky?!" Our final lucky family news comes from that other Hanover—Jeremy Warhaftig writes from Hanover, Massachusetts, to share the news that he and wife Elise Sheftel Warhaftig '93 just became the proud parents of Rachel Mollie Warhaftig, born on January 14. "She joins big brother Andrew, who turned 2 in January. We are all doing great! I am currently a pediatrician in private practice in Norwell, Massachusetts, a suburb south of Boston." Congratulations to all of you, and good luck! As for the rest of you, come on, you must be doing something you can share with me. I'll take anything—your opinions on the latest round of reality TV shows, your winter weather-related snafus, where you were during the recent earthquake, kinky stories about what you're really doing with all that duct tape and plastic.. You're dying to tell someone. It may not be the Penthouse Forum over here, but I'd sure love to hear it. Take care.
