Greetings from the great lawn in front of Seiji Ozawa Hall at Tanglewood, as fall begins to wind its way back into our lives. Nestled among the forest here in Lenox, Massachusetts, the sound of music, quite literally, is everywhere around you. In Ozawa Hall there is a rehearsal for a concert tomorrow afternoon by the Boston University Tanglewood Institute Orchestra. In the Shed, Andre Watts, one of the great pianists of our time, is playing MacDowell s Piano Concerto No.2 in DMinor. And tonight John Williams will honor the works of Bernard Herrmann (who did all the soundtracks for Hitchcock, including North by Northwest, Vertigo and Psycho, to name just a few) and Henry Mancini, the creator of the Pink Panther soundtrack and a lifelong collaborator with Blake Edwards. Martin Scorsese and Steven Spielberg will be doing the introduction to these great composers tonight. This is a magical and seemingly timeless environment—you simply turn a corner as you are walking and you are as likely to see a 15-year-old practicing a violin piece as you are to see Yo-Yo Ma or John Williams. It's a vivid reminder of how something as simple as music can add so much in these times of uncertainty.

Mail has been rather slow this past month. But there is news from Clifford Ennico. Cliff was a featured panelist at the University of Bridgeport's Business Club Entrepreneurship Night. Cliff is a nationally recognized attorney and cohost of the PBS TV show,. Money Hunt. He also writes a syndicated column, "Succeeding in Your Business," which appears in more than 50 newspapers. Well done, Cliff.

Our own John Burke was featured in an article on his new Maine Laser Skin Care practice in North Vassalboro. John is an M.D. and an expert in laser technology and his practice is targeted at making all of us aging baby boomers look and feel younger. I am sure heel be happy to offer class of 1975 discounts...

And of course, its time for another reminder of our upcoming 30th reunion on June 16-19, 2005. Your reunion committee is hard at work and is looking for classmates to help make calls to other classmates and make this reunion a great one. For information or to volunteer, just e-mail Dan Kenslea at dkenslea@ bear.com.

Well that's it for now. Time to get back to the concert. Nancy and I send our best and hope to see you in the fall at a Dartmouth game.
