In my last column I reported interesting news about Ann Ball, her family and her Sweet Adeline singing. Re-read and insert Ann Cianchette. Sorry, forgot to put in her maiden name so that people know who I'm talking about.

Kudos to Lisa Feinberg Densmore for winning an Emmy in the category "Personal Achievement: Host Interviewing" for her work in the show Wildlife Journal. This television show, produced jointly with PBS and the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department, introduces people to various outdoor activities, such as clam digging on the New Hampshire coast, tracking animals in winter, fishing with lead free tackles and sea kayaking with an eye toward safety and conservation. The 26 episodes already produced air weekly on PBS in New Hampshire, Vermont and Maine, and another 10 episodes will air in mid-fall. Most of us remember Lisa as a hot shot skier, and she continues to accumulate awards in that arena as well, at last count totaling 31 national Masters titles. Another of Lisas passions, hiking, inspired a book scheduled for release in spring 2006 titled Best Hikes with Dogs: NewHampshire and Vermont. Lisa and her husband, Jason Densmore '73, live in Hanover.

Betsy Wagner e-mailed me a nice little note, trying to lay low and I quickly bullied her into the following submission. "I've been in New York since 1986, when I started at Columbia Business School. I never thought I would stay more than two years but ended up loving it. After a few years in banking, I began work at the Columbia endowment fund, where I'm the managing director of private equity. I had spent my senior winter working in Dartmouth's endowment office—little did I know I would be returning to the endowment world. I still see Lore Serra, who somehow manages her tough work travel schedule and raising two sons successfully."

Completely unsolicited submissions are always a nice surprise, such as this e-mail from Peter Larsen. "The summer of 2004 has brought a lot of changes to the Larsen household. I recently moved to New Jersey and took a new job with Unisys in their manager of global insurance consulting practice. Even more significantly, my wife, Kelley, recently gave birth to our first child. It's a girl! Halsey Cole Larsen." Congratulations to Peter and Kelly.

From a College press release I learned that Scott Kinney recently became vice president of strategic marketing for company that should ring a familiar bell for any of us lawyers. Find- Law helps consumers do legal research online and helps law firms with their client development. Scott lives in Eagan, Minnesota, with his wife, Barbara, a molecular biologist, and daughters Rachel (10) and Leah (8). I tracked him down for further elaboration and he responded as follows. "We've lived in Minnesota for 10 years now since moving back from Australia, where Rachel was born. We try to get outside as much as we can, and though the girls turn up their noses at ice fishing, we have them convinced that all forms of skiing are a great reason to get outside in the winter. I recently spent a weekend with Andrew Davilman and some business school classmates, and I'm happy to report that the project he's undertaken to add to his house in Larchmont, New York, has not dampened his typically cheerful outlook on life (much)."

I just received the Sept/Oct issue of this magazine and noticed my old, now defunct email was listed at the end of the column. If anyone out there tried to contact me, without success, could you please try again on the new correct e-mail—lynnhollen@sbcglobal.net? It makes my day to get correspondence, and I promise to e-mail back a draft for your approval before publication so don't worry about being misquoted!
