Henrik Strame writes to let us know that he has recently been promoted to area sales manager for CareerBuilder.com in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. "This was a big move for my family," writes Henrik, "as my wife Jennifer, son Jack (3) and daugher Emma (1), really enjoyed our time living in the Boston area." The Strame family has, we hope, moved into their new house in West Chester, Pennsylvania, by the time we read this! Shannon Sullivan wrote back in March from Guatemala, where she has been teaching special ed for almost a year and a half in the primary section at The American School of Guatemala—a bilingual international school. Her note is jampacked full of updates from around the girdled earth, where she has seen several '94s, including Meghan Dunleavy, whose wedding she attended almost two years ago, along with several other Dartmouth folks. Meghan is now in Atlanta, working on her ER residency. Shannon also caught up with Krista Ingram at her bridal shower this past winter. Krista has been quite busy splitting her time between Singapore and Stanford—I'll let Krista write in and let us knowwhat that means! Shannon also visited with Maddie Pooler and Brian Crounse (not sure where) and their twins, William and Charles—howroyal! Speaking of Brits, Shannon also ran into expectant mom Katherine Osborne, her husband, Pablo Valdez (Stanford '92), and Rebecca Eldredge at London's Tate Museum. At the time of their reunion, Katherine was living in D.C., awaiting parenthood, and Rebecca was living in England, working on her doctorate at Cambridge. Since Shannon's letter Katherine actually wrote in herself to give us the full update on her wedding and recent parenthood, so I will now rudely interrupt Shannon's letter to give you the details: Katherineand Pablo were married in Texas back in October 2002. Reini Jensen was the maid of honor, and Marcie Mitre Levin and Shannon were also in attendance. In September 2003 Katherine and Pablo moved from Austin to D.C., where Katherine has been training as a Foreign Service Officer with the U.S. Agency for International Development. On May 28 the happy couple welcomed their daughter, Anna Katherine Valdez, into the world. "We'll all be living in D.C. until February, atwhich time the whole family will be moving to our first post abroad," writes Katherine. Congrats and thanks for the update, Katherine! Now, back to Shannon's letter.. .Shannon also made it back to the other side of the pond for Kate Novack's wedding in N.Y.C. a couple of years back, and also went out with Rebecca Obstler, who is now in Rome meeting...ltalians. Finally, it's not only when Shannon is traveling everywhere that she runs into folks—she also had a surprise Guatemala visit from Katie Fesus! I'm sure Shannon has seen several more people and has more news, but she ran out of room in her actionpacked card! Thanks for the updates, Shannon, and I hope all is well! Stacey (Tomaccio) and Geoff Stone write to let us know that they have just doubled their parenting fun: "Just wanted to share that we recently gave birth to our second set of twins in October. Cody andjackson were a whopping 7 and a half pounds each!" Cody and Jackson join their two 2-and-a-half-year-old siblings, Thomas and Christina—Stacey and Geoff are adjusting, and write that they are "loving the chaos!" Wow. Makes my own brand of chaos seem.. .well, quiet. Tlease write to me. Unlike Stacey and Geoff, I could use a little more noise and a little less private time as I write this dissertation. Take care.
