Nearly eight years after they started dating, Matt Walus and Jennifer Tudder were married Saturday, October 2, 2004, in Chicago. Jenn, now Jenn Walus, sent this message: "Jon Aljancic, who is expecting his second child with his wife (they have a 1-year-old son, Ryan), was one of our groomsmen. We were thrilled to celebrate with Stacey Briere, Kris Jadd, Lee Jekos, Steve Lisowski, and Mike Messina and Bill Drehkoff, who were flying solo as their wives, Amanda Medford and Kate Protexter (respectively), were unable to attend. "It was a beautiful ceremony and the reception and after-parties were unadulterated, drunken debaucheries—but that's what we Dartmouth kids do best, right? Matt and I honeymooned in Tahiti for two weeks and are living in the west suburbs of Chicago with our two Great Danes, Giacomo and Sebastian—very domestic!"
Speaking of weddings, I recently received word from Bryan Farrow that he and UNH alum Beth-Anne Dabek Farrow were married in September 2003. Caleb Scott, Chris Miller and Erica Rivinoja '99 were among the guests at the wedding. Bryan works for a subsidiary of the advertising firm J. Walter Thompson in Boston and teaches a weekly course in modern philosophy for the Boston Center for Adult Education. You can check it out at www.bcae.org.
Brandon Russell wrote from Iraq with an update about his family. Brandon, a '97 West Point graduate, married Jeneil (Palmer) Russell in February 1999. The couple had their first child, Rhema Amelia, on April 4, 2004. Brandon writes, "Jeneil is in the Boston area with her family while I am deployed to Iraq." Brandon said he will return to home in Germany with Jeneil and Rhema in February 2005 once he finishes his tour of Iraq. Jeneil can be reached at jeneil. russell@us.army.mil. Take care, Brandon.
