Thank you, guys and dolls, for your very welcome Christmas cards. We enjoyed reading them very much. Many of you mentioned how much you enjoyed our 70th reunion but you were so sorry to have heard from Gerry Day that she was resigning from the chairmanship of our mini-reunions. As you may know, the College no longer holds reunions after the 70th, so it is up to the classes to hold their own mini-reunions should they choose to do so. I can think of at least 12 classmates plus their wives or friends who would attend and we hope there would be more. I would suggest the weekend of our first football game (against Colgate), September 16 and 17. Please drop me a line if you can make it and indicate how many in your party can attend. We hope to have a mini—it all depends on how many can attend. We also should try to have Gerry in charge—perhaps there are some who could help her. Please write me!

Don't expect miracles from our new football coach, Buddy Teevens, who, as a quarterback, captained our 1978 football team to the Ivy tide and, as a coach of the Dartmouth football team 1987- 1991, won two Ivy League championships. He is a good recruiter and, if admissions cooperate, we should be competitive in three years. My guess this year is four and six.

Sad to advise that Oscar Ruebhausen died in December of last year.
