According to Stephen Davidson, Bermuda has become a Dartmouth hotspot: "Hello from Bermuda! Used to be rare to find Dartmouth people here, but nowadays the faded D sticker on my motorcycle sometimes attracts yells from visitors and alums working for the insurance sector here. My wife, Cecile, and I recently welcomed our first child, Christopher Aime Davidson, who has me singing a happy song in three languages (English, French and overexcited gibberish). QuoVadis, the managed information security company I cofounded in 1999, has grown significantly and serves customers worldwide in the international insurance and financial services sectors. Was impressed to learn that Dartmouth now has a research program in public key cryptography, one of the areas in which we specialize. The QuoVadis trust certificates are now globally distributed in Microsoft, Apple, Mozilla, BlackBerry and others, making 2005 an exciting year for us."

From the Northeast, Geoffrey Hyatt writes: "On October 9,2004, Viva and I were married in Kennebunkport, Maine. We live in Boston, where I have been since 1996. We both worked at Boston Consulting Group, though we didn't meet until several years afterward at the annual BCG Alumni Day. I'm very busy at Contact Net- work, where we provide an innovative social net- working' corporate software that helps you find your colleagues that have relationships that will help you (for client development, sales, etc.). We had a terrific time last summer at the wedding of Marianne Downie and Jonathan Housum 'B6, which was also up in Maine."

A letter from Steve Nichols invites your help: "I am writing to reach out to those who know me and would like to help at what I think is a worthwhile cause. My cousin, Kevin Cale, has been living with cystic fibrosis all of his life. Earlier last year his condition seriously deteriorated to the point where he will need a double lung transplant within this year to survive. He is on a donor list and is waiting. The reason I am writing is that (I hate to say this part) if Kevin lives long enough to have donor lungs, there will be a three- to fourmonth rehabilitation period, during which time both he and his mom will need to relocate and live near the hospital, located three-plus hours away from their home. Health plans will not cover the relocation and living expenses during the rehabilitation period. So, I am appealing to any of you who would like to help out in anyway, shape or form. Charitable donations are being accepted. A letter explaining all this and an address to which to donations maybe sent is given on the first page of a Caring Bridge Organization site established for Kevin. If you want to receive any more details, please visit: www.caringbridge.org/nc/kevin. I will continue to run his Web address on the sides of my racecar to, I hope, generate more awareness. If any donations are made and Kevin does not make it to the surgery stage, the money will be donated to the CF Foundation. Thanks, and God bless anyone who sees fit to help."
