The mailbox contained a report on the Florida mini-reunion held at Mt. Dora on March 8 and 9. Pat and Don Stillman arranged the get-together, which included president Steve Winship and his wife, Lucy, who brought the latest news from Hanover. Also attending were Audrey and Stu May, getting ready for an 11-day cruise to the southern Caribbean. Dick Pace and wife Jane brought a CD of Dartmouth songs that were enjoyed by all, including Marge and John Kelley, Jo Jo and Stuart Hicks plus those always-welcome widows Jane Hanks, wife of Don Hanks, and Pamela Conrad, wife of Ted Conrad. Wind and rain forced cancellation of a boat ride on the lake and activities such as golf and tennis, but a trolley ride through the picturesque and historical town made up for the scratched outdoor plans. Cocktail parties and dinners in the inn were also very enjoy-able. Health problems prevented the attendance of twosomes such as Irene and Hans Froehlich, Fran and Snuffy Smith, Joan and Grant Hesser and Dick Jachens and his wife, Ginny.

A phone call to Richmond, Virginia, found Hank Gunst well and busy in his work in real estate development. Unfortunately, he lost his wife, Shirley, in 2003, and he still misses her. Hank hopes to get back on the tennis courts when his partial knee replacement permits. Hang in there, Hank. Another phone call produced some news from Rae and Felix Lilienthal in N.Y.C. They are healthy and in good spirits, looking forward to a two-week cruise beginning and ending in London. Besides Jolly Old England they visit St. Petersburg, Stockholm and Germany. Felix hears regularly from Ira Skutch in California, who is apparently doing okay out there. Telephone calls to local (Sarasota) Floridians brought some interesting information. Tom Trump was cheerful as usual, despite his failing eyesight due to macular degeneration. He and Patty attend the monthly luncheon meetings of the Sarasota Dartmouth Club, which are conveniently held at the nearby Yacht Club. John Kelley heard President Wright address the club in March and he was favorably impressed with the comprehensive talk given by our leader. Cheers to all.
