It is the time ofyearwhen our Class Notes were written at Moosehead Lake, Maine.

From what we heard we were fortunate to have been there, in spite of much rain, countless thunderstorms—some ofwhich were quite spectacular. At least we escaped the terribly hot and humid summer south and far west of us.

During the past several months we have lost many dear friends, and Rip reminds me we are in that age group. We shall miss them all.

In Hanover there is never a question of what to do, rather how to find time for what interests you. There is football and soccer, and with two grandsons (8 and 10) playing soccer and hockey, their games vie for our attendance as well.

We have come to believe Hanover is a perfect place to live, just don't let anyone know! Rip:

"Somewhere within my busy brain

Just seething to come out

Are verbs and verses to explain

What life is all about.

But first I need to trim my toenails

And then to wash my hair

Or tend to such demanding details

O Life is so unfair."
