Things are beginning to shape up for our 70th reunion. It will take place in the fall, and the dates are October 6-8. Our head- quarters will be at the Hanover Inn, and there will be all sorts of activities throughout the weekend. Most events will take place at the Inn, and transportation will be provided for any off-site events. The football game that weekend will be with Yale, and we hope that Buddy Teevens'79 will have the team ready to play a good game.
As you may remember, Bill Niss appointed a group of thee to run the reunion: Boyce Price, Ray Builter and Isabel Pounder. I'm sure they will be getting out more definite information soon— if they have not already done so. So mark your calendar and save the weekend of October 6-8 for what may well be our last big reunion.
Awhile ago I got a call from Clay Mellor, who wanted to get in touch with Jim Stephens, one of his former roommates. He had tried calling him but for some reason could not get through to him. Yesterday I called Jim, who said he would be delighted to talk with Clay, so I called Clay and gave him Jim's correct number. I checked this morning and the two had finally gotten together and were happy to bring each other up to date. When I talked with Jim he said he was doing pretty well. He had been doing some rowing in the summer and has played some tennis, although it has gotten more and more difficult to find a partner. Incidentally, Clay said he had been in touch with their other roommate, Gordy Ley, and he was also doing well. Sounds like a good trio.
