Let's give a rouse to reunion cochairs Christ Veator and Beth Parish along with committee members Jake Kuehn, Claudia Broeker Egger, Terri Sergesketter Heath, Pam Ponce Johnson, Jim Laughlin, Margaret Marder, David Marder, Becky Blake Osborne, Katie Harris Robbins and Jeff Weitzman for orchestrating an awesome gathering in Hanover to commemorate our 20th reunion! From the fajita dinner on Baker lawn to Field of Dreams on Chase Field to our DOC house class dinner, the weekend delivered on all fronts. While I don't have the final stats that are tracked by the College (number of attendees, number of kids, fundraising participation percent, dollars raised, beers consumed, etc.), suffice it to say that everyone is raving about the good time.

As promised, former Olympian skier and national champion Tiger Shaw did cross the river from Norwich, Vermont, to attend the reunion. Having just sold a software company that he built, he is enjoying a bit more free time, including coaching his three kids in ski racing—future Olympic potential in those genes. Glenn Eberle did not heed the call to return to Hanover but is rumored to be living in Boise, Idaho, and flying planes for a regional airline. Jodi Whitebook Lerman also missed out as she was taming the Scottish links with her husband. But son Drew will be matriculating at Dartmouth this fall. He'll be a '10, which means his graduation will coincide with our 25th reunion.

Tom Kong and wife Lynn traveled to reunion from Ventura, California, where Tom is a cardiologist. They brought their two kids but opted out of the dormitory lodging to shack up with Katie and Kris Robbins (Hanover residents). Rumor has it there was a sighting of Tom on the tennis courts Sunday morning with Valerie Hartman Levy (up from Atlanta with husband Jeff and three kids). And it was confirmed that both former Big Green tennis stars still have "it" on the courts.

Did anyone catch up with Barry Bass and Pam Lower Bass? I found it curious that Barry was listed on our registration sheets as attending "with kids," while Pam was listed as attending "without kids." Guess we know who was at the tent afterparty in the Bass family! Actually, Barry had to cut out early on the weekend to take one of his daughters to camp but he deserves another enormous round of applause for his tireless fundraising efforts for our class.

Other updates: Ted Meisel recently departed from Yahoo, having landed there when Overture (where he was CEO) was sold to Yahoo. Hes now involved with nonprofits, start-ups and general R&R. Lionel Conacher runs Westwind Partners in Toronto (an investment bank he started three years ago) and came with his wife and three kids. Jim Kreitman runs Global Equities in London for CSFB and enjoyed an overdue return to Hanover with wife Andrea (left kids with in-laws). Mimi Reilly Eldridge and George Eldridge are immersed in a home renovation project in suburban Boston; Linda Cooper Marshall made it to Hanover solo, leaving logistics of her kids' multiple baseball and lacrosse events in the hands of husband Jenkins.

Quite surprisingly, the anticipated stampede for class officer nominations was more of a "quiet dash" (in the opposite direction) and, as such, John and I remain as class column co-authors. Since, regrettably, neither John nor I even attended reunion (losers!), most of the preceding was entirely made up. Actually, all was gratefully gathered from legitimate third-party sources— thanks!

Only 1,398 days until our 25th-see you on the Hanover plain in '10 if not sooner!

All the best to all of you.
