Tom and Janot Rugglea are producing a Patriots' Day mini-reunion (April 13-15) in Concord, Massachusetts. We are all aware of Toms penchant for entertaining and in this effort he is outdoing himself.
Homecoming weekend in Hanover was a huge, sometimes hilarious, sometimes worrisome experience for '50s Jack and Jill Hamed provided accommodations for Jim and Bobby Birney, Gordy and JoAnn Hood, Eric and Sue Miller and Bob and Joan Mcllwain. Friday dinner for 10 was a relatively quiet but totally enjoyable affair, salvaged from near disaster after Jill's kitchen sink sank. Luckily, her favorite plumber came to the rescue in the nick of time. On Saturday evening, how about 45 for a beef tenderloin dinner prepared by Jill with help from the cleaning lady and three Dartmouth students. Ruggles led singing, JoAnn's overnight trip to the hospital (she is fine now), Jims rendezvous with a ditch and Bob's hour-long trip to the hospital (15 minutes away for those locals who know the way) to check on JoAnn combined to create a memorable evening.
Bob Kilmarx reports that he spends the time from October to June at his Lyme, New Hampshire, farmhouse while still maintaining his Rhode Island home.
Bob Funkhouser celebrated his Both birthday at daughter Kristin's ('80) Yarmouth, Maine, house together with other family members and Gerry Sarnos.
