Clare Gupta, Megan Fontanella and Carly O'Connell toasted the New Year from miles above ground, en route to their holiday in Tunisia. The trio did just about everything possible in the friendly North African country—from shopping in the souks to riding camels in the Sahara, and learning Arabic in the process. They proved Tunisia is "a small country but a big destination!"

Finally, it has been a pleasure bumping into many classmates around San Francisco this winter. I share a group ski cabin at Tahoe with Abby Johnson, who recently relocated to San Francisco from New York. We often see Amy Benziger Averill Doering, and Betsy Winston '03, who are living together in Tahoe City for the winter. Laura Schleicher and Anne Bernard also live in the Tahoe area. Damon Grant, who is pursuing a masters degree in education at Stanford, hosted a joint birthday party in February with Matt Stevenson, Geoff Vitt and Sandy White. I enjoyed catching up with many '04s at the party, including Lauren Talbot, Laura Delaney and Clare Gupta. Please keep sending me the news, and hope you all are enjoying a happy spring.
