Rocks Li man sends word that "Rebecca Orrene Louella Liman-Davis was born at 12:59 P-m- on Tuesday, July 8, in Owen Sound, Ontario, weighing 8 pounds, 9 ounces. Gorgeous! It will take some planning for me to come East this year, given our move from Meaford, Ontario, to Owen Sound (only 20 miles but a major undertaking nonetheless), our ongoing renovation of an old house here and Rebeccas arrival. I hope to bring both Jacqueline and Rebecca with me this time. See you in Hanover for the mini.

There are lots of class events in store for us in the coming year. The class of '65 fall mini-reunion will take place in Hanover on October 17 through 19, Dartmouth's Home- coming football weekend. It will include a party gathering at Steve and Linda Fowler's both before and after the Friday night bonfire, Saturday morning tailgate party, Big Green football and rugby, and party and dinner at Pierces on Saturday evening. Sunday there will be breakfast and our class meeting, also at Pierces. Registration forms and more detailed information will be on the class Web site and will be included with the next class newsletter. If you have questions, comments or suggestions regarding the fall mini get in touch with Bob McConnaughey (mcconn2@comcast.net or 301-652-8102) or go to our Web site www.biggreen6s.com for more.

The guys-only golf outing (GOGO) set for Bend, Oregon, has been postponed to spring 2009, date TBD. If you are interested in being on the list for any of our future GOGO events or are willing to host a future GOGO event in your area please contact Bob Blake at robert.d.blake.65@alum.dartmoujth.org.

CarniVail will be the first weekend in March. Incidentally, Steve Waterhouse is hard at work on The Dartmouth Ski Project, a history of Dartmouth's involvement in the development of skiing in the United States. He writes: "We have set a timetable of January 1, 2009, to complete the bulk of our research; and October 2009 to have the book and film essentially complete. This should enable us to be ready to present our film and provide copies of our book by February 2,010, when we would anticipate the College will be wrapping up celebration of the DOC's 100 th anniversary and potentially a role for this project in the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. This is a pretty ambitious schedule so we are seeking more help from various alumni on the research side of our effort to keep us on our timetable."

Terry and Ed Keible are organizing an out-of-Hanover mini-reunion in Monterey, California, for September 2009. This prommises to be delightful.

For those who plan well ahead, the 2009 Hanover mini is October 21-23 and our 45th reunion is scheduled for June 14-17, 2010. Bruce Wagner and Ted Atkinson, our 45th reunion chairs, will keep us informed as plans are developed.
